Durability
Properly constructed concrete path systems will
last - free from maintenance for decades. Asphalt
paths will start to deteriorate after only a few
years of installation. Asphalt paths also require
annual sealing and periodic resurfacing. Concrete
can be easily edged. Asphalt edges will crumble
making edging difficult.

Slip-resistant
With the right finish, your concrete paths will
be slip-resistant, lowering your risk of injuries
and in turn, lowering your liability. Wet asphalt
can become slick and slippery, increasing your exposure.

Resists
deterioration from water
One of the leading causes of asphalt deterioration
is water. Rain and irrigation water migrates through
microscopic surface cracks in asphalt pavement causing
premature failure. Concrete is not affected by water.
